NEWS For Practice “Reference”

we finish grammar -reference at yesterday. today i find a news which is just for practicing.

Russell Brand: More yoga, (slightly) less sex

An officially single Russell Brand appeared on “Piers Morgan Tonight” on Tuesday, and things got a little intimate.

The 37-year-old actor/comedian, whose divorce from pop star Katy Perry was finalized this week, revealed thatas anoun he’s been keeping his anger in check with a technique that(the fact )’s been taking precedence over more adult activities.

“For the first time in my life, I spend more time meditating and doing yoga than I do having sex,” Brand said.

That(what he said ) answer seemed to catch Piers Morgan by surprise, as Brand clarified, “that(why they are divorce)‘s only because I do a hell of a lot of yoga – and they’re still neck-and-neck. It’s like ‘Rumble in the Jungle,’ with yoga versus sex.”

Brand, who split from Perry last December, has recently been seen hanging out with Jordana Brewster’s younger sister, Isabella.

Mr. Bush said that “”You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test.””

Mr. Obama  said that “I’m sure that in addition to taking a tour of the White House, there is going to be a substantive conversation between myself and the president.

all of  these are simple mistake in grammar class , as a president they  are also can made this a kind of mistake , it is prove that grammar is not very strict in our normal life ,especially during a free chat ,  so that ‘s truth but  as a international student we have to learn it in the right way first then we can “make these mistakes”   cheery up !  we are work on home work 😦

Modals with predictions

END OF THE WORLD PREDICTIONS

With a bit of effort it is possible to list at least 25 “End of the World as we Know It” predictions. Some of them are pretty unlikely – even bizarre – but some are definitely more realistic and therefore, frightening. Not all of these predictions will destroy the planet but most will remove humanity once and for all. We’ve listed the top 25 predictions based on Likelihood and Impact (a classic risk analysis predictions matrix.) It’s the end of the world as we know it. Remember …

It’s the end of the world as we know it, It’s the end of the world as we know it … and I feel fine.

Scientists pretty much know how the actual planet we live on will end and so their end of the world predictions are likely to be accurate. Even in the few centuries that mankind has studied the universe, the science of astronomy has repeatedly shown that eventually the Sun will expand and consume the first three planets of this solar system.  Even if it stops short of the Earth the intense heat will destroy every living thing on this little blue world.  The good news is that this won’t (or shouldn’t) happen for another several billion years. I got this information from (www.aquiziam.com). I think the world could end with fires. The world might end with too much water.

Grammar For love

Recently  i read a short article “grammar for live ” which is very interesting and meaningful also i try to change it for love ;it is work;  Forgive us ~~~  We are young men who could not live without love 😛

Grammar For love

love in active voice, not the passive.
try to find a girlfriend and do not wait a girl who find you. cause  you will waiting alone until die !

love in the indicative mood rather than subjective.
Be concerned with things as they are rather than as they might be.

Love in the present tense facing the duty at hand.
Without regret for the past or worry for the future.

Love in the first person,
criticising yourself rather than finding fault with others.

And if you want a verb to conjugate,
you cannot do better than to take a verb “to love”.

WATCH! “PASSIVE” IN NEWS

Our grammar teacher said that “journalist  do not  use PASSIVE in news articles ” today we try to find something which is can prove that ‘s not truth !   hurry up!!!!!
July 15 today

Adam Savage goes ‘incognito’ on the Comic-Con floor

“Mythbuster” Adam Savage has a true appreciation for costuming.

“I have several different suits and pieces of armor,” he said as he prepped his Comic-Con 2012 costume, “and I’ve never seen anything like this quality.”

“You could go to battle in this,” he said.

Every year, Savage combines his love of costuming and Comic-Con with a special opportunity for “Mythbusters” fans. He calls it #adamincognito. Fans follow his Twitter to get clues about his costume and once Savage hits the exhibition floor, they try to find him out in person.

This year’s #adamincognito costume was a Ringwraith from “Lord of the Rings.” The armor was hand-made by Scott Maple from Kropserkle in Canada.

Once decked out in full Nazgul regalia, Savage had to get all seven feet of his costume into the convention center from his room in the adjacent Marriott Marquis hotel. His assistant carried his Comic-Con badge so it wouldn’t be obvious who was in the costume.

Savage was able to walk from the far end of the exhibit floor until, rather appropriately, the Weta Workshop and “Hobbit” booths before being found out. The winners of the challenge got passes to see the “Mythbusters” panel.

Finally we just find one sentence which is use PASSIVE grammar.

ok be a good listener. Patience, now -read by Tiger

Afternoon on a hill

I will be the gladdest thing

Under the sun!

I will touch a hundred flowers

And not pick one.

I will look at cliffs and clouds

With quiet eyes,

Watch the wind bow down the grass,

And the grass rise.

And when lights begin to show

Up from the town,

I will mark which must be mine,

And then start down!

With grammar we can infer the writer’s emotion.  There were so many different moods and impressions that he wished to express in verse.

such as using  a lot of “will” instead of hypothetical conditionals “”to express his future action which means the constancy and virtue of his love.
